ICBC Cases • Personal Injury • Wrongful Dismissal

Heidi Giesbrecht was born and raised in the prairie town of Morden, Manitoba. She decided at age 15 to become a lawyer and has never regretted that decision.
Heidi attended the University of Manitoba for undergraduate studies in the General Arts program majoring in political science and psychology.
In her 2nd year she attained the highest grade point average of all students enrolled in the General Arts program at the University of Manitoba and was awarded the University Women’s Society Scholarship for outstanding academic achievement for that year.
Her high grade point average and high score on her Law School Admittance Test allowed Heidi to gain early admittance to law school at the University of Manitoba. This she did at age 20 after only 2 years of undergraduate university study. Heidi graduated from law school at the University of Manitoba in the spring of 1979 and promptly moved to the British Columbia Coast to article in the law. She was called to the bar as a lawyer in British Columbia in July 1980.
After 2 years practicing law in Vancouver, Heidi moved to Campbell River in the spring of 1981 where she practiced with the former firm of Sinnott Stamp & Associates. In 1990 she established her own law practice, located in the Georgia Quay where she still practices today.
For the past 16 years Heidi has practiced law almost exclusively in the areas of ICBC and other personal injury claims as well as employment law. She has achieved hundreds of successful outcomes for clients both at trial and by out-of-Court settlements. Heidi takes great pride and enjoyment from helping her clients to work through their legal difficulties to get their lives and careers back on track.
